Alabama High School Basketball - Bryant overwhelmed by Chelsea
December 29, 2009: Chelsea, AL 35043 The Chelsea Hornets basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Bryant Hurricanes to 59 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Williamson for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 30. Chelsea will meet a Lions team coming off a 56-23 non-league loss to Faith Academy (Mobile, AL). The Lions record now stands at 4-8.
The Hurricanes (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Davidson (Mobile, AL). The Warriors come into the 6A Area 1 contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Davidson was routed by Spain Park (Hoover, AL), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
