Massachusetts High School Basketball - Shawsheen Valley Tech knocked off by Lynnfield
January 10, 2023: Billerica, MA 01821 The Lynnfield Pioneers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams to 33 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Triton Regional for a Cape Ann - Large match on Friday, January 13. Lynnfield will face a Vikings team coming off a 51-39 league win over Amesbury (Amesbury, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Shawsheen Valley Tech moves to 3-2 on the year. The Rams travel to Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA) to face the Knights in a Commonwealth - Upper match on Friday, January 13. The Knights enter the match with a record of 0-0.
