Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Chester tipped by Lewistown
January 29, 2011: Lewistown, PA 17044 The Lewistown Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Chester Clippers to 56 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tyrone for a non-league contest on Monday, January 31. Lewistown will face a Golden Eagles team coming off a 35-29 league loss to Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-9.
With the defeat, Chester moves to 6-8 on the year. The Clippers host Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA) to face the Patriots in a Delaware Valley game on Tuesday, February 1. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 2-12. Penn Wood lost 70-38 in their recent non-league game against Reading (Reading, PA)
