Virginia High School Basketball - Covenant holds off Veritas School

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), saw Covenant's basketball squad hold off Veritas School by a tally of 44-42.

With the victory, Covenant improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Steward (Richmond, VA) to confront the in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 8. The come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Steward won 76-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA)

Next up, the Lions confront the Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 3. Veritas School will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
