The Higley Knights basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting San Tan Foothills Sabercats to 40 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Queen Creek for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Higley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-2.

The Sabercats (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Tempe Prep (Tempe, AZ). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Tempe Prep was routed by Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ), 46-40, in a non-league contest.
