In Friday's league game, the Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) football team were victorious over the host Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS), by a score of 42-28.

The Rockets (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS). The Wolves come into the 5A Region 2 game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Cleveland Central was knocked off by Provine (Jackson, MS), 13-6, in a league game.

The Titans now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holmes County Central for a 5A Region 2 game on Friday, November 1. Ridgeland will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 14-0 league win over Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-3.
