The Taft Wildcats topped the visiting Arvin Bears basketball team by a final score of 56-39 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) in a South Sequoia game, on Tuesday, February 10. Taft will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record. The Generals enter the game with a 7-15 record after their 82-57 league loss to Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA).
