Utah High School Basketball - Copper Hills tops Mountain Ridge

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT) and the host Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT), saw Copper Hills's basketball squad knock off Mountain Ridge by a count of 53-37.

With the victory, Copper Hills upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Bingham (South Jordan, UT) to play the Miners in a 6A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Bingham won 60-44 in their recent league challenge against West Jordan (West Jordan, UT)

Next up, the Sentinels play the Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) in a 6A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Mountain Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Silverwolves come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 37-35 league win over Herriman (West Herriman, UT).
