Illinois High School Basketball - Edinburg nipped by Mt. Olive
February 9, 2022: Mt. Olive, IL 62069 The Mt. Olive Wildcats tipped the visiting Edinburg Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 57-54 in Wednesday's league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) in a MSM game, on Friday, February 11. Mt. Olive will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Crusaders enter the game with a 3-20 record after their 76-19 league loss to Nokomis (Nokomis, IL).
With the defeat, Edinburg moves to 9-14 on the year. The Wildcats host Tri-City (Buffalo, IL) to face the Tornadoes in a game on Friday, February 11. The Tornadoes enter the game with a record of 10-13. Tri-City lost 56-37 in their recent league game against South County (Franklin, IL)
