Texas High School Basketball - Elgin overwhelmed by Round Rock
December 27, 2022: Elgin, TX 78621 The Round Rock Dragons basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Elgin Wildcats to 38 in the Dragons non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Dragons now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crockett for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Round Rock will battle a Cougars team coming off a 80-20 non-league loss to Second Baptist (Houston, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-17.
The Wildcats (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Bowie (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Bowie triumphed over Round Rock (Round Rock, TX), 62-42, in a non-league contest.
