February 3, 2012: South Kent, CT 06785 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Kent School Mighty Cardinal (South Kent, CT) and the visiting Nia Prep (Newark, NJ), saw South Kent School's basketball squad overcome Nia Prep by a count of 62-52.
With the victory, South Kent School upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Mighty Cardinal travel to Chase Collegiate (Waterbury, CT) to play the Highlanders in a Housatonic Valley challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Chase Collegiate lost 69-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Hoosac (Hoosick, NY)
The now own a 10-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a non-league test on Sunday, February 5. Nia Prep will clash with a squad coming off a 65-51 non-league loss to Omaha Lightning (Omaha, NE). The record now stands at 118-420.
