Connecticut High School Basketball - Griswold ripped by Old Saybrook
January 31, 2024: Griswold, CT 06351 The Old Saybrook Rams basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Griswold Wolverines to 47 in the Rams non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Rams now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westbrook for a Shoreline contest on Thursday, February 1. Old Saybrook will battle a Knights team coming off a 57-12 league loss to Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT). The Knights record now stands at 2-12.
The Wolverines (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Lyman Memorial triumphed over Wheeler (North Stonington, CT), 43-22, in a league contest.
