Georgia High School Basketball - St. Francis nips Allatoona

December 29, 2017: Acworth, GA 30101

St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA), 57-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Francis upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Cedar Grove won 74-50 in their recent non-league bout against Dacula (Dacula, GA)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 5. Allatoona will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
