Colorado High School Football - Sierra held off by Liberty

September 8, 2022: Colorado Springs, CO 80920

In Thursday's non-league game, the Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO) football team tipped the visiting Sierra Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO), by a final score of 26-20.

The Lancers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Olympians come into the 4A League 8 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Gateway was tipped by Far Northeast Warriors (Denver, CO), 56-13, in a non-league game.

The Stallions now hold a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Air Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, September 17. Sierra will battle a Kadets team coming off a 40-12 non-league win over Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Kadets record now stands at 2-1.
