Minnesota High School Basketball - Academy of Holy Angels overwhelmed by New Prague
February 20, 2009: New Prague, MN 56071 The New Prague Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Academy of Holy Angels Stars to 30 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hutchinson-New Century Charter for a Missota match on Tuesday, February 24. New Prague will confront a Tigers team coming off a 49-37 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 12-9.
With the defeat, Academy of Holy Angels moves to 10-13 on the year. The Stars host Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN) to confront the Falcons in a non-league match on Saturday, February 21. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 19-3. Robbinsdale Armstrong won 56-48 in their recent league match against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN)
