South Carolina High School Basketball - East Clarendon tops Carvers Bay
January 7, 2020: Turbeville, SC 29162 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the East Clarendon Wolverines (Turbeville, SC) and the visiting Carvers Bay Bears (Hemingway, SC), saw East Clarendon's basketball squad knock off Carvers Bay by a count of 65-51.
With the victory, East Clarendon upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Johnsonville (Johnsonville, SC) to play the Flashes in a AA Region VII challenge on Friday, January 10. The Flashes come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Johnsonville lost 64-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake View (Lake View, SC)
Next up, the Bears play the Kingstree Jaguars (Kingstree, SC) in a AA Region VII challenge, on Friday, January 10. Carvers Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 43-36 league win over Johnsonville (Johnsonville, SC).
