The Middle Creek Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Laney Buccaneers to 35 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Panther Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. Middle Creek will battle a Catamounts team coming off a 66-42 non-league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Catamounts record now stands at 23-4.
