Texas High School Football - Bowie can't get by Midway
September 23, 2011: Waco, TX 76712 Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX), 21-14 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Midway improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Waco (Waco, TX) to confront the Lions in a 4A Region I District 8 test on Friday, October 7. The Lions come into the test with a record of 3-2. Waco lost 42-34 in their recent non-league test against Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)
With the loss, Bowie drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Del Valle (Del Valle, TX) to confront the Cardinals in a 5A Region II District 15 test on Thursday, October 6. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 0-5. Del Valle lost 58-12 in their recent non-league test against Killeen (Killeen, TX)
