The Yorktown Wildcats held off the host Nixon-Smiley Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boling for a non-league test on Thursday, August 22. Yorktown will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-6.
