Crowley Gent (Crowley, LA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Port Barre Red Devils (Port Barre, LA), 70-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crowley upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Gent travel to Kaplan (Kaplan, LA) to play the Pirates in a 3A District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Kaplan won 85-72 in their recent non-league bout against Northside Christian (Crowley, LA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Eunice Bobcats (Eunice, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Port Barre will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record.
