North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County tops Camden County

December 15, 2022: Camden, NC 27921

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) and the host Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC), saw Currituck County's basketball squad knock off Camden County by a count of 55-43.

With the victory, Currituck County upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Bear Grass Charter won 36-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Jones (Trenton, NC)

Next up, the Bruins play the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a 2A/3A Conference 15 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Camden County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 52-35 league loss to Manteo (Manteo, NC).
