October 24, 2014: Rio Grande City, TX 78582 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Grulla Gators (Rio Grande City, TX) and the visiting Hidalgo Pirates (Hidalgo, TX), witnessed Grulla's football squad notch a victory over Hidalgo by a margin of 19-7.
In their next game, the Gators clash with the King Brahmas (Kingsville, TX) in a 4A-1 Region IV District 16 match, on Friday, October 31. Grulla will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Brahmas enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 19-14 league win over La Feria (La Feria, TX).
The Pirates (2-8) will now prepare for their match against King (Kingsville, TX). The Brahmas enter the 4A-1 Region IV District 16 match with a 4-4 record.
