January 6, 2022: St. Petersburg, FL 33703 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Northeast Vikings (St. Petersburg, FL) and the visiting Lakeside Christian Lions (Clearwater, FL), saw Northeast's basketball squad knock off Lakeside Christian by a count of 47-29.
With the victory, Northeast upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to St. Petersburg Catholic (St. Petersburg, FL) to play the Barons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 8. The Barons come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. St. Petersburg Catholic lost 56-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Saint Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL)
Next up, the Lions play the Indian Rocks Christian Golden Eagles (Largo, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 7. Lakeside Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 39-19 non-league win over Osceola (Seminole, FL).
