Florida High School Basketball - Mitchell can't hold off Calvary Christian
January 21, 2023: Clearwater, FL 33759 The Calvary Christian Warriors basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Mitchell Mustangs to 55 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Petersburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Calvary Christian will battle a Green Devils team coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL). The Green Devils record now stands at 3-1.
The Mustangs (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Bulls come into the contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Wiregrass Ranch was nudged by Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL), 61-27, in a non-league contest.
