New Mexico High School Softball - Rio Grande bounces Eldorado
March 27, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87111 Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM), 24-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Ravens now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Rio Grande will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 19-5 non-league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Eldorado falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 31. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
