Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) and the visiting Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX), saw The Colony's basketball squad overcome Heritage by a tally of 74-55.

With the victory, The Colony improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host MacArthur (Irving, TX) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 29. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. MacArthur lost 60-59 in their recent non-league challenge against North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)

Next up, the Coyotes confront the Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, December 4. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 43-42 non-league loss to Braswell (Little Elm, TX).
