New Jersey High School Basketball - Spotswood ripped by North Plainfield
February 5, 2024: North Plainfield, NJ 07060 The North Plainfield Canucks basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Spotswood Chargers to 27 in the Canucks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Canucks now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Brunswick for a Greater Middlesex - White contest on Thursday, February 8. North Plainfield will battle a North Brunswick Raiders team coming off a 56-34 non-league loss to J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ). The North Brunswick Raiders record now stands at 3-19.
The Chargers (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Piscataway triumphed over Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ), 61-34, in a non-league contest.
