October 22, 2010: Metairie, LA 70001 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Barbe Buccaneers football squad scored a close 32-28 victory over the Archbishop Rummel Raiders.
In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the LaGrange Gators (Lake Charles, LA) in a 5A District 3 match, on Friday, October 29. Barbe will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Gators enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 35-34 league win over Lafayette (Lafayette, LA).
The Raiders (3-5) will now prepare for their match against St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA). The Purple Knights enter the 5A District 10 match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, St. Augustine held off Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA), 21-14, in a league match.
