Kempsville Chiefs (Virginia Beach, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA), 12-2 in a league test.

With the win, Kempsville upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Chiefs host Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Seahawks in a non-league test on Thursday, April 11. The Seahawks come into the test with a record of 8-5. Atlantic Shores Christian lost 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA)

With the defeat, Salem falls to 1-8 on the season. The Sundevils travel to Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA) to battle the Stallions in a Beach test on Thursday, April 11.
