New York High School Basketball - Germantown can't hold off Northville
December 16, 2023: Germantown, NY 12526 The Northville Falcons basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Germantown Clippers to 45 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Plain for a Section 2 Western - Mohawk contest on Wednesday, December 20. Northville will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 53-26 non-league loss to Mayfield (Mayfield, NY). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-7.
The Clippers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Watervliet (Watervliet, NY). The Cannoneers enter the Section 2 Patroon contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Watervliet nudged Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY), 64-53, in a non-league contest.
