South Dakota High School Basketball - Sioux Falls Lutheran topped by Centerville
January 29, 2024: Centerville, SD 57014 The Centerville Tornadoes basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Sioux Falls Lutheran to 53 in the Tornadoes non-league victory on Monday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alcester-Hudson for a B Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Centerville will battle a Cubs team coming off a 37-31 non-league win over Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD). The Cubs record now stands at 6-7.
The (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Flandreau Indian dropped by Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD), 44-17, in a non-league contest.
