Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the visiting Muscle Shoals Trojans (Muscle Shoals, AL), saw Austin's basketball squad overcome Muscle Shoals by a tally of 67-56.

With the victory, Austin improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Black Bears travel to Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL) to confront the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Vestavia Hills won 81-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Trojans confront the St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Muscle Shoals will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
