California High School Basketball - Northgate holds off Alhambra
February 2, 2022: Walnut Creek, CA 94598 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) and the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), saw Northgate's basketball squad hold off Alhambra by a tally of 48-44.
With the victory, Northgate improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Broncos host Miramonte (Orinda, CA) to confront the Matadors in a Diablo - Foothill challenge on Friday, February 4. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 11-11. Miramonte won 38-35 in their recent league challenge against Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA) in a Diablo - Foothill challenge, on Friday, February 4. Alhambra will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record. The Ugly Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 45-41 league win over Campolindo (Moraga, CA).
