Texas High School Basketball - Needville can't hold off Rockport-Fulton
December 27, 2021: Rockport, TX 78381 The Rockport-Fulton Pirates basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Needville Bluejays to 45 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pirates now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salado for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 28. Rockport-Fulton will battle a Eagles team coming off a 65-46 non-league win over Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-7.
The Bluejays (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Robstown (Robstown, TX). The Cottonpickers enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Robstown was nudged by Salado (Salado, TX), 70-52, in a non-league contest.
