Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX), 4-3 in a league challenge.

Next, the Dragons confront the Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Nacogdoches will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to Lufkin (Lufkin, TX).

With the loss, Tyler drops to 3-8 on the season. The Lions travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX) to meet the Maidens in a 5A Region 2 District 16 test on Tuesday, February 8. The Maidens come into the test with a record of 6-3. Jacksonville won 3-0 in their recent league test against Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX)
