Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD), 60-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marriotts Ridge upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The host Howard (Ellicott City, MD) to clash with the Lions in a Howard County bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-3.
