The Flour Bluff Hornets topped the host East Central Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gregory-Portland for a 5A Region IV District 29 test on Tuesday, August 31. Flour Bluff will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Churchill (San Antonio, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 20-7.

The Hornets (17-4) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX). The Titans enter the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Southwest Legacy was knocked off by Randolph (Universal City, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
