The East Surry Cardinals crushed the visiting Salisbury Hornets baseball team by a count of 15-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Forbush for a Foothills 2A bout on Tuesday, March 14. East Surry will face a Falcons team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 3-2.
