Kansas High School Basketball - Wellington crushes Trinity
December 9, 2023: Hutchinson, KS 67501 Wellington Crusaders (Wellington, KS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Trinity Celtics (Hutchinson, KS), 61-12 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wellington upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Crusaders host Rose Hill (Rose Hill, KS) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Rose Hill lost 67-21 in their recent non-league bout against Hesston (Hesston, KS)
Next up, the Celtics clash with the Kingman Eagles (Kingman, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 64-34 non-league loss to Inman (Inman, KS).
