The St. Augustine Knights basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host United South Panthers to 54 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.

The Knights now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nixon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 30. St. Augustine will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 74-58 non-league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-4.

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Vela (Edinburg, TX). The Sabercats come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Vela was nudged by Pace (Brownsville, TX), 77-59, in a non-league contest.
