Roncalli Royals (Indianapolis, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Royals now own a 18-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 8.

With the loss, Decatur Central falls to 16-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Martinsville (Martinsville, IN) to face the Artesians in a Mid-State challenge on Tuesday, May 11. The Artesians enter the challenge with a record of 10-12.
