Oregon High School Basketball - Gresham overwhelms Central
December 21, 2022: Gresham, OR 97030 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR) and the visiting Central Panthers (Independence, OR), saw Gresham's basketball squad wallop Central by a tally of 81-33.
In their next game, the Gophers face the Redmond Panthers (Redmond, OR) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 28. Gresham will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 7-1 record after their 67-38 non-league win over La Grande (La Grande, OR).
With the defeat, Central moves to 4-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Silverton (Silverton, OR) to play the Foxes in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Foxes come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.
