January 18, 2022: Tucson, AZ 85743 Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mica Mountain Thundebolts (Tucson, AZ), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) in a 5A Sonoran challenge, on Thursday, January 20. Marana will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ).
The Thundebolts now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Safford for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 26.
