February 17, 2022: Austin, TX 78729 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX) and the host McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX), witnessed Burnet's softball squad prevail over McNeil by a count of 14-0.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Connally for a non-league match on Friday, February 18. Burnet will face a Cadets squad coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Cadets record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, McNeil moves to 0-2 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Connally (Waco, TX) to face the Cadets in a non-league match on Saturday, February 19. The Cadets go into the match with a record of 0-5. Connally lost 30-5 in their recent non-league match against Burnet (Burnet, TX)
