Harvard-Westlake Wolverines (Studio City, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA), 56-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Harvard-Westlake upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Crespi (Encino, CA) to play the Celts in a Mission bout on Friday, January 21. The Celts go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Crespi lost 62-58 in their recent league bout against Alemany (Mission Hills, CA)

Next up, the Golden Knights play the Notre Dame (SO) Knights (Sherman Oaks, CA) in a Mission bout, on Friday, January 21. St. Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 17-3 record after their 90-73 league win over Alemany (Mission Hills, CA).
