Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Brentwood School Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 49-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Taft upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Toreadors travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart (Montebello, CA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Cantwell-Sacred Heart won 63-35 in their recent non-league bout against St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Brentwood School will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
