Nebraska High School Basketball - Palmer knocked off by Nebraska Christian
February 8, 2019: Palmer, NE 68864 The Nebraska Christian Eagles basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Palmer Tigers to 26 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host High Plains for a D1 District 5 contest on Monday, February 11. Nebraska Christian will meet a Storm team coming off a 47-14 league loss to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE). The Storm record now stands at 4-14.
The Tigers (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Burwell (Burwell, NE). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Burwell ran past Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE), 73-28, in a non-league contest.
