Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop Canevin topples North Catholic
January 27, 2018: Cranberry Township, PA 16066 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball squad beat the host North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA), by a margin of 54-40.
The Crusaders (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Ironmen go into the WPIAL 3A 3 outing with a 4-15 record. In their last outing, Steel Valley defeated Carrick (Pittsburgh, PA), 51-21, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now own a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel Park for a non-league outing on Sunday, January 28. North Catholic will clash with a Black Hawks squad coming off a 57-43 non-league loss to North Allegheny (Wexford, PA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 12-4.
