September 12, 2023: Everson, WA 98247 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) and the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), saw Anacortes's volleyball squad nip Nooksack Valley by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Anacortes upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Seahawks host Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA) to play the Cubs in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Sedro-Woolley lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA)
The Pioneers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sehome for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. Nooksack Valley will play a Mariners squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Mariners record now stands at 1-1.
