December 9, 2017: Harrison, AR 72601 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Republic Tigers (Republic, MO) and the host Harrison Goblins (Harrison, AR), saw Republic's basketball squad hold off Harrison by a count of 57-52.
With the victory, Republic upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Strafford (Strafford, MO) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Strafford won 69-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Lutheran North (St. Louis, MO)
Next up, the Goblins play the Branson Pirates (Branson, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 60-53 non-league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, MO).
